Unlike indoor felines, street cats usually have to fend for themselves and look for food, which isn’t always easy. However, cats are incredibly intelligent creatures, and here’s another example to prove it.

A beautiful and smart tabby cat won the Internet’s heart after doing an amazing thing. Her story was shared on Twitter, saying:

“Seeing people come to buy fish and handing the owner money, this cat went out and got a leaf to pay for her fish. On the first day, the owner of the shop thought this was very cute, so he gave her a small fish. Now every day this cat comes in to buy a fish with a leaf.”

When I heard about this, I was left completely speechless. What a smart and polite kitty! While most stray cats would sneak and steal a piece of food, this charming feline earned her delicious treat.

The cat noticed that people were giving money in exchange for their groceries. Having no money, so she found a leaf on the ground and decided to give it a try.

When the cat approached the shop owner with a leaf in her mouth, she instantly won him over. The kind-hearted owner laughed and couldn’t say no to those big, sparkling eyes, so he gave her a fish.

The cat happily walked away to a safe place with a fish in her mouth, eagerly waiting to enjoy it.

The shop owner couldn’t believe what happened, but the next day, the cat came back, carrying a leaf in her mouth again. Now, the charming feline visits the shop every day, trading a leaf for a delicious snack.

Cats are very sneaky and usually know how to take care of themselves. Some of them may not come up with the idea of buying food with leaves but will come home with a receipt around their neck. Oh, what would we do without cats?
