Soap is a hygiene product that we use several times a week and lately it no longer comes with the quality it had before, which causes the clothes to have certain stains, a different color and the fabric is somewhat damaged.

For this reason, we bring you this article so that you can make your own soap at home, with few ingredients and with excellent quality. To make it perfect, I recommend that you read the following steps carefully.

For this homemade lemon soap, you will need:

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of cold water
  • 2 bars of glycerin soap
  • 50ml. by Alcohol
  • 10 tbsp. of common sugar
  • 6 tbsp. of soap powder
  • Zest of 3 lemons
  • 50ml. alcohol vinegar

Preparation

1- To begin, pour the liter of water into a pot and bring it to a boil along with the lemon peels. Once it comes to a boil, we leave it for about 5 minutes so that the water takes on all the aroma.

2- On the other hand, we grate the 2 bars of soap.

3- After 5 minutes we remove the peels from the water, lower the heat and gradually add the zest of the soaps. It is important to stir while we add the zest so that they are mixed perfectly, although it may take a while for it to melt well, so be patient.

4- After 20 minutes, we add the soap powder and continue mixing.

5- Once the soap powder has dissolved, add the 10 tbsp. of sugar without stopping mixing.

6- Finally we add the alcohol and vinegar. In this step, you can add any coloring that you like, I recommend that it be yellow or green.

7- We turn off the heat and pour the contents into a soap mold or any container you have on hand. Once 6 hours have passed, we can cut and shape to our liking.

Important:

Before using the soap, let it sit for about 5 days so that it is completely cured.

And ready! We can now use our homemade lemon soap, try it with any type of clothing, whether black or colored.
