Homemade Natural Insect Repellent

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (or other vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 cup shampoo

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup vinegar with 1/2 cup olive oil.
  2. Add 1/2 cup shampoo to the mixture.
  3. Stir the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a spray bottle for easy application.

Usage:

  • Shake the spray bottle well before each use.
  • Spray the repellent in areas where insects are present, such as the kitchen or outdoor seating areas.
  • Reapply the repellent as needed, especially after cleaning or if it rains.

Safety Note: While this repellent is made from natural ingredients, it’s always a good idea to test a small area first to check for any adverse reactions. Keep the spray bottle out of reach of children and pets, and avoid spraying directly onto food or food preparation surfaces.

With this homemade insect repellent, you can enjoy a bug-free kitchen and outdoor space without worrying about harmful chemicals. Give it a try and watch as those pesky insects disappear!
