Prince Harry wants to educate Archie and Lilibet in the UK so they don’t ‘miss out’

Prince Harry may be considering a move back to the UK, according to pop star Joss Stone.

The singer-songwriter, who has known Harry since performing at a fundraising event for The Prince’s Trust two decades ago, recently reconnected with the Duke of Sussex and shared her thoughts on his future.

Conversations About Harry’s Plans

The Daily Mail previously reported claims from a source suggesting Harry is eager to have his children, Archie and Lilibet, educated in Britain instead of California.

The insider alleged: “I can tell you that Harry wants to educate the children here in the UK. Harry feels his children are missing out on the extensive family network that their niece and nephews are enjoying. Harry wants his children to have the very best education. He has retained his closest friendship group of confidants from his days at school at Ludgrove and Eton. He wants that for his own children.”

Now, another of Harry’s friends has echoed these claims.

Joss Stone on Harry’s View of the UK

The Right to Be Wrong singer, who herself recently returned to the UK after living in Nashville, Tennessee, spoke to Hello! following a catch-up with Harry at the WellChild Awards.

“Maybe Harry will move back, too,” she said. “That would be nice. He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children. It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back – for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends, and a strong sense of belonging and most importantly in a safe environment.”

The speculation comes just months after Harry expressed happiness about raising his children in the US. In December, he told an interviewer: “I enjoy living and bringing my kids up here, it’s a part of my life that I never thought I was going to live and it feels as though it’s the life that my mum wanted for me.”

Meghan’s Reported Reservations

Meghan Markle, however, is said to be less convinced. Reports claim she strongly opposes the idea of Archie and Lilibet attending a British boarding school like their cousin Prince George, allegedly considering the concept “barbaric.”

An insider told the Mail: “There is still some negotiation for Harry to have with Meghan. The King, however, is delighted.”

Harry’s recent reunion with King Charles may be influencing his outlook on home life. Speaking to The Guardian, he admitted: “This week has definitely brought that closer.”

What Comes Next?

Whether Harry and his family will make a return to the UK remains uncertain. For now, speculation continues to swirl as the Duke weighs the balance between life in America and his ties to home.
