Only 1 In 100 People Can Find The Animal In This Picture

The internet is buzzing over a mind-bending image that supposedly only 1 in 100 people can figure out.

TikTok creator Hectic Nick, known for his tricky brain teasers, has challenged his audience with a visual puzzle that’s leaving many stumped.

In one of his most viral posts, he dared his followers to find a hidden animal within the image.

Alongside the optical illusion, he teased viewers with a caption: “You can only like this video if you can find the hidden image in the picture.”

He then doubled down on the challenge, adding: “Apparently only one percent of people can find it – if they can, comment because I can see nothing.

Good luck.”

People have enthusiastically embraced the challenge, with many trying their best to spot the elusive panda.

“I can’t see it lol,” one person writes.

Another chimes in: “I really couldn’t see it at first.”

“I had to turn my phone upside down,” someone else admits.

A fourth viewer shares: “I made my eyes blurry.”

On the flip side, some found the challenge way too simple. One TikToker remarks, “Panda – shake the screen.”

“It’s very easy to see what it is. I saw it immediately,” another boasts.

A different commenter writes, “This challenge was a lot easier than I thought.”

Someone else excitedly adds, “Panda. It’s visible. I’m in that exclusive one percent. Yessssss.”

People who solved the puzzle easily have shared tips to help those who struggled with it.

One person explains, “I saw a panda, you can only see it if you move the picture away from you.”

Another suggests a different trick: “Instead of looking away, just cross your eyes to look at your nose. Then look at the screen and you’ll see the panda first for one second.”

Someone else shares their approach: “I saw a panda because I tilted my device.”

There’s a reason why some people found this puzzle trickier than others.

In an interview with News.com.au, Associate Professor Paul E. Dux from the University of Queensland’s School of Psychology shared that some individuals naturally possess stronger “spatial attention” skills than others.

Visual-spatial attention refers to the ability to focus on a specific area in space.

Professor Dux also noted another factor at play: “The other reason is that people sometimes just get lucky, and the eyes fall on the target immediately.”

Meanwhile, Professor Barton Anderson from the University of Sydney explained to News.com.au that those struggling to locate the panda in an image might benefit from stepping back or slightly squinting their eyes to blur the picture.

These kinds of visual puzzles are a constant hit on social media.

Recently, people were captivated by a viral photo featuring a snow leopard camouflaged perfectly in its surroundings. Another mind-boggling challenge involved a wedding ring cleverly hidden among a pile of pebbles, leaving many stumped.
