Kate Middleton leaving England shows she is ‘doing well’ in her cancer recovery, expert says

Kate Middleton’s decision to go to Balmoral in Scotland to be with other members of the Royal family tells us how well she is feeling, one expert has said.

Royal family biographer Angela Levin appeared on GB News to discuss the move.

Speaking to Nana Akua, Ms Levin said it was a ‘huge move’ by Kate, Birmingham Live reports. She said that the decision to leave England and head up to Scotland illustrated how comfortable she felt to be there as she continues her recovery from cancer.

Kate confirmed in March that she was undergoing treatment for cancer. She had abdominal surgery in January, and shortly afterwards it was discovered that cancer was present.

“She is going to Scotland to be with the family”, Ms Levin said. “This is a huge move. Not only because she is obviously not well yet, but it shows she feels very comfortable with the Royal Family. She is very happy with the King and the Queen and she knows they will understand if she has to rest.

“She can say what she likes and be warmed. I think it’s wonderful she can do that. The children will be delighted also.” A source told The Daily Beast regarding the Princess of Wales: “Kate has been exceptionally open and honest about her health.

“Making two appearances before the summer break, at Wimbledon and Trooping the Colour, was a clear signal that she is doing well. That is what we are hearing privately as well—it’s not over but there is lots of optimism, lots of positivity.”

“It is obviously still an incredibly worrying time but all the signs are that her cancer treatment, which is ongoing, is progressing well.” Last month, the Princess of Wales made her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis, attending the Wimbledon men’s final.

Catherine, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, presented the men’s singles trophy to Carlos Alcaraz, who beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets. The princess attended the final with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her sister, Pippa Matthews.

Before handing Alcaraz the trophy, Catherine spoke to ballboys and ballgirls who lined up around her, and shook Djokovic’s hand.
